We are glad to announce candidacy open for the National College Students Society 2023/24.
National College Students Society is an autonomous apolitical body of National College students. It serves as a liaison between college management and students and works for the welfare of the students. NCSS is formed by democratically elected students.All the current students are eligible to be a member of NCSS, vote and be elected as the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer or Deputy General Secretary.
As per the constitution of NCSS, the post of President, General Secretary and Treasurer is reserved for all 3rd year students while the post of Vice- President, and Deputy General Secretary is reserved for all 2nd year students of all faculties. However, this time the Deputy General Secretary position will be reserved for the first-year students as a way of making it an inclusive opportunity for them as well. This will soon be revised in the constitution too.
Interested students are requested to send their CV and Cover Letter with a short bio and photo at ncss2022@nationalcollege.edu.np. The photo and bio will be published through student society’s official facebook, email and also be displayed on the college’s TV. The candidate also has to pay a certain sum of fee for the registration process, which will be collected in the student society’s fund.
Please note that the deadline for candidacy is April 27, 12:00 pm (afternoon).
