In Semester: Exams are a very important part of internal assessment at NC. In total 50 marks are allotted for the internal assessment of which the pass mark is 20. Each subject faculty is required to take at least two exams each semester per subject. The second of the two is just a dress rehearsal of the end semester exam–this is done to make students prepare better. First internal exam could be both normal or open book type. NC administration helps the faculty in efficient administration of the exam. This is done under strict supervision of the Program coordinator.

End Semester: End semester exam is taken by KU itself with NC as an exam center. This happens once every semester. It carries 50 marks with pass marks of 20. Students who fail to get a passing mark then appear for the compartmental exam. This is done under strict supervision of the representative of KU and the Principal.
