In 2011, an association of alumni of the College graduates has been formed with an objective to promote the message of the academic programs offered by the College. Under the aegis of the Association, a tracer study of the ex-students was conducted and an ad hoc committee was formed. After series of meetings NC Alumni was formally formed under the leadership of Aradhana Malla, the first batch student of bachelor in Development Studies.
At present the total number of graduates are 1109.
Some graduates have successfully completed higher studies in various universities in country and abroad, and some have been engaged in professional jobs with the leading institutions such as Action Aid, ICIMOD, MS Nepal, Oxfam, Save the Children, United Nations, USAID and World Education Foundation, and WWF. Some graduates have also established their own entrepreneurships.
Already, the network of the graduates has been expanded in several countries such as Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdoms, United States, and others.
