National College recently organized an insightful guest session on the “Landscape of Mass Media and Development Communication in Nepal.” The session, led by Ms. Namrata Sharma—an esteemed senior journalist, development communication expert, and activist—offered BDFin (Bachelor in Development Finance) students a deeper understanding of the critical role media plays in shaping development narratives in Nepal. The session highlighted the intersection of journalism and social change, encouraging students to think critically about how communication strategies can influence policy, empower communities, and support sustainable development. It was a valuable opportunity for academic enrichment and meaningful engagement with real-world issues.
