Scholarships
Topper:

Awarded in each semester to the student(s) who are able to secure the highest grade.

Toppers with 4GPA:

Awarded to the students who secure 4.00 GPA/CGPA in all the subjects in a semester.

Needy and Diligent:

Awarded to the selected needy and diligent students, maintaining 2.5 CGPA. Application needs to be submitted with a recommendation from the local authorized bodies, renewable each year.

Merit based:

Awarded to the students who secure the highest score in KUSAAT.

SAF Madanjeet Singh Scholarship

It is a full scholarship provided by South Asia Foundation.

Procedure
  1. Along with regular admission application form, a separate application with a brief personal essay must be submitted in handwriting for the scholarship addressed to the Chairperson of SAF Nepal along with the admission application form.
  2. Each applicant has to attend Kathmandu University School of Arts Admission Test (KUSAAT) (written and interview).
  3. Merit list of the successful applicants will be forwarded to the SAF office for the final selection.

SAF Scholarship coverage: admission fee, semester fees, exam fees, stationeries items and KU registration fee at least for two years and possibility of extension for another two years upon satisfactory performance.

Basic Requirement to continue with SAF Scholarships
  1. Maintain a minimum total GPA of 3.0 to continue in each academic semester.
  2. Regular, punctual and maintain minimum 80 percentage attendance.
  3. The scholar shouldn't have faced any disciplinary actions.
  4. Scholar will report the regular (monthly) academic activities and the progress to the grantee
  5. Scholar ensures regular participation in the extra circular activities organized by college.
