NATURE OF PROGRAM

The Bachelor of Social Sciences (BoSS) program is an interdisciplinary course combining Sociology, Anthropology, Culture, Political Sciences, and Psychology, with Public Policy and research. It focuses on the dynamics of contemporary Nepalese and global societies.

OBJECTIVE/ OUTCOME

To equip students for critical reasoning, decision-making, and policy formulations for social development.  Students will be able to address social, political, and cultural issues in a holistic way. They will understand the dynamics of social change and empowerment.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Social Organizations, Policy Institutions, and Research Institutions in governmental, Public, and Private Sectors along with international organizations including NGO/ INGO. They will also be able to work as independent researchers and social entrepreneurs. 

FURTHER STUDIES

Master’s program in any social field, International Relations, Policy studies, Regional Studies, Development Studies, and socio-economic interdisciplinary programs among others.

BoSS, a study of social sciences with a holistic approach, focuses on the dynamics of contemporary Nepal and global societies.
