Bachelor in Development Studies (Since 1999)

In development studies, students will understand the policies, actions, and interventions that bring about the kinds of social change that lead to higher levels

Bachelor in Development Finance (Since 2006)

BDFin is an interdisciplinary course that combines Finance with courses on economics,  management, and development along with research courses.

Bachelor of Social Sciences (Since 2013)

BoSS program is an interdisciplinary course combining Sociology, Anthropology, Culture, Political Sciences, and Psychology,

Bachelor of Psychology (Since 2023)

126 credits dedicated to Psychology and interdisciplinary subjects that will add on the value on Psychology

National College has been opted by a number of foreign Students from all over the globes. From Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Australia, we have 21 students who have studied or are studying with us

Awarded to the students who secure 4.00 GPA/CGPA in all the subjects in a semester.

Needy and Diligent:

Awarded to the selected needy and diligent students, who can also maintain a minimum 2.5 CGPA.

Merit based:

Awarded to the students who secure the highest score in KUSAAT.

Field Experience

Field study is a part and parcel of the academic programs at NC.  Each semester, students together with faculties conduct field studies in various parts of the country, and explore pertinent issues related to the courses being discussed in the classrooms.

Voluntary Works

Students are encouraged to participate in voluntary works at various social and development organizations while still not hampering their academic endeavors.

Project Works

In the 4th year-2nd semester, students have to individually prepare research proposals on social, economic, environmental, development and finance issues, related to the courses they have studied. They have to defend their research proposals in front of the College Research Committee.


 BDevs, BDFin, BoSS and BPsych  students undergo Internship work in the 7th semester for 60 working days under the mentorship of senior professionals at corporate companies, financial institutions, development agencies or research organizations

Join us at National College

With the foundation stone lain on the auspicious day of Ghatasthapana (September 25, 2014), construction of the college building is almost in its final stage as of today, with the remaining civil works of boundary wall and lift.  The 7-storey building consists of spacious 14 classrooms of international standard equipped with audio-visuals and furniture.  Similarly, the college has its auditorium of capacity 130 pax equipped with air-condition and audio-visuals, and also annexed with a service room as well as indoor parking.  Along with a spacious library and computer lab, there are six major office rooms separated with staff-friendly partitions.
