Designed in 2005 and materialized since 2006, an Exchange Program has been successfully continuing between the students and faculties of the National College and three universities in Japan, namely Tokyo City University (formerly, Musashi Institute of Technology), Sacred Heart University, and Waseeda University.
Under this project, more than 138 Japanese students have visited Nepal especially, National College with more than 14 professors, staff and other members of different institutions. Similarly, more than 35 Nepali students and 3 professors had visited Japan.
Under the supervision of the teachers, students jointly conduct field based socio-economic and environmental research activities using household surveys, field observations as well chemical tests of air and water samples. They also participate in public awareness and school activities including charity services.
